Revisando como uno de tantos días en la Internet y youtube, me vino de repente el recuerdo de un contacto de un foro español, el cual me envío un mensaje privado en el que me preguntaba por música ranchera, esto por la interpretación que se ha echo una costumbre al finalizar sus conciertos de Manolo García, de algunas canciones de este genero, el cual se va perdiendo poco a poco, esto por la baja difusión de cantantes, la escasees de estaciones de radio dedicadas al genero y no salimos de los mismos interpretes de siempre; Pero volviendo a la materia, dentro de mi gusto de esta música y teniendo que reconocer que no soy letrado en el tema, pero José Alfredo Jiménez, es considerado el mejor compositor mexicano de música ranchera de todos los tiempos. Es uno de los cantautores mexicanos más reconocidos e interpretados del siglo XX y aún en la actualidad. Creó una enorme cantidad de canciones (más de mil); todas ellas reconocidos por su calidad y su sencillez armónica, melódica y lírica.
Y como interprete de este género, Pedro Infante, es el actor y cantante mexicano más famoso y publicitado de la Época de Oro del Cine Mexicano, así como uno de los más grandes representantes de la música ranchera. A partir de 1939 apareció en más de 60 películas, y desde 1943 grabó aproximadamente 350 canciones. Por su actuación en la película Tizoc, fue acreedor al Oso de Plata Silver Bear del Festival Internacional de Cine de Berlín al mejor actor principal y premio Globo de Oro a la mejor película extranjera, otorgado por la prensa extranjera acreditada en Hollywood. Murió el 15 de abril de 1957 en Mérida, Yucatán, durante un vuelo que pilotaba a la Ciudad de México. Como toda figura notable, Pedro Infante es controvertido. Para algunos, representa un estereotipo del mexicano machista, borracho y mujeriego; aunque Pedro era en realidad deportista y no consumía alcohol y para muestra un botón esta escena donde actúa a un borracho e interpreta una canción del susodicho José Alfredo Jiménez
